DRUG INTERACTION Zinc Oxide is known to interact with other drugs like heparin (Na) and heparin (Cl), ichthammol, phenoxymethylpenicillin (K), sodium calciumedetate. MECHANISM OF ACTION Zinc oxide has astringent, soothing and protective properties and is used in topical preparations for eczema, slight excoriations, wounds and haemorrhoids.
